Our candles are made with 100% soy wax. Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oils of soybeans. Soy wax is eco-friendly, renewable, and American-grown. Our candles are carbon-neutral and burn clean and slowly. 

Benefits of soy wax over other types of wax are:

 * They don't produce much soot because the wax has a much cleaner burn

* Soy is a great scent carrier-no need for chemical amplifiers 

* Soy wax candles have been tested and do not release the toxins that other wax candles release

* Soy wax is a significantly better choice for those who suffer from allergies, asthma, and headaches.  

Hello! We are Dudley and Patty Stafford and Sheena Bromagen owners of Kentucky Candle Company.  We are a small family run business.  Our candles are created and hand-poured right here in Mt. Sterling, Ky.  

After 47 years of working a 9-5, Dudley and Patty retired.  When you retire, you just can't quit.  We created the Kentucky Candle Company as a way to spend more time together with our family.  It's just a bonus that our home always smells so good! Our company is based on the principle of always being a light to others. God has given us this opportunity and we hope to share His light with you.
